It does help a bit.  

The following call gives the list of available packages. 

"https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC/$RHN/rhel-x86_64-server-5/listPackages/<last modified time for the channel>"  

Now I wanted to use "getDetails" interface from the errata session.  

Not too sure what's the way to construct the URI  to invoke this API ? Any comments ?
