Through my VMware Infrastructure client I am adding an additional 100GB
disk to this VM. To make this quick and get it done I had to reboot the
VM for the new disk to show up so I could configure it.

Is there a way to get this additional disk to show up with out the
reboot? I know how to do this with my physical machines but it's not
the same.
