Hello,

 

I have some questions about the updating procedure.

 

We have registered our machines on RHN, and there are some software that we
want to update, but we fell afraid that those updating programs crash our
applications (mysql, postgres and apache).

 

The questions are:

 

-           What is the possibility that this will happen?

-          If we get a crash, how we can resolve that?

-          Is there a way to go back?, I mean desinstall the updates?

-          Do you have a procedure or document that tell me about “how to
update RH”?

-          Where can I get more information about “how linux does the
updating process”?
