First off, there is an RPM version for 0.26 out in a dropbox folder. Search the mythtv archives or google and you can get it. I found a copy and can post it somewhere as well. A kind mythtv person posted them for us when 0.26 wasn't available on atrpms. You will have to force an uninstall of the .27 version, ignoring dependencies then install this version. Finally you have to go into the .php file referenced in the error screen and edit it to expect version 4. I did that and my mythweb is working just fine. I agree its a pain and a hack but it can be brought back. I'm on CENTOS 6.4 x86_64 so that is what my rpm version was for.
