موضوع: [ATrpms-users] Fwd: FFmpeg with libass and maybe GnuTLS also

It would be nice if the default FFmpeg spec file could be changed to include libass and SSL support, at least for RHEL 6 & 7.

FFmpeg has support for libass, OpenSSL and GnuTLS. However, in the default ATrpms spec file (for RHEL at least) it is disabled.

For libass, all that is needed would be to add

--enable-libass \

in the spec file under the ./configure heading (If I am not misstaken).

For SSL support, there are two options: OpenSSL or GnuTLS. For OpenSSL to work, the --non-free parameter must be set, which will cause licence problems. However, GnuTLS is using GPL and provides SSL just like OpenSSL. GnuTLS is part of the standard RHEL/CentOS installation, so for that to work, just add --enable-gnutls \ in the FFmpeg spec file.

Can this be done, or will this cause any problems that I am unaware of?

/Fred
