I have been deciding how I want to implement the skip list. I am considering
making all auto update (sysupdate, cron, auto) use the skiplist by default,
and then change the skiplist option to something like noskip... 

I am curious if you would find this helpful?

I will try to word some of he docs better. BTW, community contributions come
in many flavors (documentation is just as valued as patches to me)!
