Yes, I am using that header trick that we talked about earlier. Unfortunately I
am calling rpm to do it, as I could not get perl-rpm to work properly for
this. It may be however that I just don't know how to use it, and I am too
lazy to troubleshoot it. I will contact the author of the package one of these
days.

In any case, here is the sequence of dependency resolution events from GRAB's
perspective...

 - get packages user wants to install
 - create local provides database
 - create database for provides info of all remote packages to be installed
 - get requires info from all packages to be installed
 - look at all three lists, and see if there is anything missing and try to
   fix

also wedged into the mix is a hash database near the beginning of the source
that specified and fixes broken packages (i.e. python-popt/python-rpm which
affects a normal upgrade of up2date).

I like the idea of doing the whatrequires, but that method would be very ugly
for doing a large number of packages. As it is, I think it is taking too long
now... I like the idea however, and will give it more thought. Good thinking!

Also, I am just releasing 0.90.4 in devel form. I think it is just about ready
for a formal release which will be 1.0! My goal is to hack through this over
the weekend, and have it up by Monday.
