So I answer 'yes'... I _still_ can't spell. This is why the community is so great. Hopefully someone will help out where I lack, and submit patches and bug reports (as you did both) to help make GRAB a better package. > - After upgrading some packages, GRAB always removes them, despite the > auto remove = no in the config file. Looking forward to seeing how you _fixed_ it! > - After I have selected which packages I want to be downloaded and > upgraded, GRAB takes a long time to do I don't know what. You are right, this is network traffic. Unfortunately because GRAB does not download from a specific repository that already has a dependancy database set up, this will always be a problem. Also that traffic is being generated by rpm, and you can turn it off with the option --nodeps (undocumented as of now), or in the config file. I am always entertaining other ideas of how to do this... > - An ETA or speed readout would be nice too while GRAB is downloading stuff. > Just a precentage doesn't tell me much about how fast things are going. hrmmm... technically this is just some simple math. I will see what I can do but this is not high on the critical list. BTW, I have to say this... its _percentage_ not precentage. (sorry, had to do it!)
