Okay the --update provides db is taking forever...even if a "starter"
provides db to go along with a serverlist is 45 megs...its got to be
less time consuming to downloading a starter provides db for the
redhat7.3 main-os ftp tree..than it is to do the header look ups for the
1300 rpm's client side on the first time you do grap --update. Can the
provides db be compressed down with bzip or something. the incremental
updates should go pretty quickly...but i think having a way to merge in
precompiled provides db for something like a redhat 7.3 mainos mirror
miht really make things go faster...for the first --update

It's getting there....being able to grab all the correct gnome deps is a
huge thing.

side topic....can grab recurse through a tree for rpms?
example the gnome.org site has an ftp tree setup where each rpm is down
in a subdirectory named by package....the rpm's are not all in one
directory. Would it be worth implementing a server tag like servertree
to tell grab to tranverse an ftp tree looking for all rpm's down the
tree?
