Good Morning! I've been having some really good luck with grab 1.0.3 i just did a full install of all the gnome2 pieces last night from the rawhide repository. Grab did the dependancy checking pretty well...it wasnt perfect becuase of some package conflicts between gnome 1.4 and gnome2 that aren't so obvious...basically some packages got renamed and some functionality was split...so some older packages have to be removed by hand first so the new packages with new names can be installed properly. Overall I'd say grab got 80 to 90 percent of the dependancies correct on its own....it was only when there were weirdo orphaned packages that did correspond to an update. Maybe grab needs to add an ability for an option to uninstall some orphaned packages in weird circumstances when packagenames change or functionality is split into a new second package thus creating a file conflict. -jef
