It is actually very quick and easy, so it can also be done for something that
changes frequently like rawhide and updates.

Remember that GRAB will still build the package info description file (instead
of downloading it), so all FTP servers _should_ work fine!

If you are just referring to speed, then it would be a nice feature but I
think it may be hard to maintain. I personally would not want to be
responsible for maintaining a dependency list of someone else's repository. It
would (IMHO) be easier just to mirror the repository and then do the GRAB
friendly-ness locally.

Maybe instead, I will just mirror them!

I think this release will start the 2.0 branch probably released in the next
few days (so get your copy of the devel version, and let me know if there are
any issues that you see!). 

So why the jump to 2.0? Because my wife said.
