Re: upgrading 7.2+rawhide -> rh8.0 via grab

I have thought about this one before. There are two major problems with doing
this.

   1) Packages sometimes change what they provide, especially when comparing
      different versions of RedHat.
   2) GRAB's dependency checks just looks at the new list of packages to
      install, and fixes any dependencies there. It does not check to see if
      it were to break anything locally by doing an install. This may be the
      case if option 1 occurs, if the versions are out of order (yes
      sometimes the package on the newer RedHat is older then the older
      version (I think telnet was like that going from RedHat 6.2->7.3)).

Basically, this is very risky and unless I can figure out (or someone can
spec it out to me (in pseudo code please)) how to do this, we will have to
rely on the package automatically figuring them selves out.

Although parsing the output may be helpful. Can you come up with a methodology
for parsing? Take a snippet of the errors when you tried to do the upgrade,
and let us know. Otherwise, I don't know of a clean way to do this.
