here is the relavent redhat bugzilla bug ticket....there are several
underlying issues appearently...im not really keeping up with this as
much as I should.

read through the supplied comments...there is a methodology as to how to
fix things go wrong and to prevent lockups...and how to figure out what
the real problem is.
