what would be nice, is a system whereby GRAB keeps a database of 'connection
quality' to each of the servers specified in its config file; and will
prefer to download packages from servers that have historically been:
1. faster
2. more up-to-date
3. more reliable?

I wouldn't use this much myself (since I have my own server that I use to
push out updates to machines); but it would be nice to have it in Apt (I
think apt might already do some of this, and I know there have been programs
written for apt to do this).

it's a wishlist item tho. :) not a showstopper.
