I guess you are right. As you may know glibc is vulnerable on various
platforms, and RedHat released a new version for 6.2-8.0!

I wish they would just say if this is a trend, or just them being extra
specially nice...

Yes, but s/school/employer/ and you are right.

It has been hard for me not to just call Debian the end all answer, and call 
it a day! I started playing with it again (after almost 3 years), and I 
realized that I really like the RedHat OS now.
