grab 2.3 issues error on RH6.2

I just upgraded an RH6.2 machine from grab-1.0.5 to grab-2.3; and when I try
to  use it, I get the following error:

rpm: --nopgp may only be used during signature checking

is there an option I can set; or do I have to hack the code, or do I have to
upgrade to a newer version of RPM?
