Is there a list archive I can search through? If so, please let me know where. Do Red Hat 9 and grab work together for anyone else? I get some interesting error messages (below). The '--buildrep' on the RH9 repository went fine on the server (RH73), and the 'what to update' part seems to go well enough, and the RPMs are downloaded, but the 'key checking' seems to go bad, and nothing is installed. I can (and have) gone to the cache directory and updated everything from there, but I wanted to check if this is "the way things are right now" or if I did some "thinking challenged" configuring. Thanks for reading, Troy ============================================== [root@hercules ~]# grab --sysupdate --noskip -Updating remote RPM cache database -Grabbing list of ftp servers from: ftp://ftp.jdmz.net/pub/grab/lists/redhat-9.txt >ftp.jdmz.net >[email protected] ->Indexed [1402] RPMS from [email protected] ->Indexed [1] RPMS from [email protected] ->Indexed [13] RPMS from [email protected]/SRPMS ->Indexed [2] RPMS from [email protected]/athlon ->Indexed [46] RPMS from [email protected]/i386 ->Indexed [1] RPMS from [email protected]/i586 ->Indexed [9] RPMS from [email protected]/i686 -Updating remote provides database with new packages -Comparing 1462 of 1462 with Valgor -Obtaining current RPM list -Filtered Package Statistics: 47 Consolidated, 1 Diff Arch, 855 Current, Skip List, 550 Other Status -Please select one (or more) of the following matched RPMS: Num S Package name Version Installed Arch Size Server Desc --- - ------------------ ----------- ----------- ------ ------ --------------- 1 U glibc 2.3.2-27.9 2.3.2-11.9 i686 4.6M [email protected] 2 U glibc-common 2.3.2-27.9 2.3.2-11.9 i386 11.8M [email protected] 3 U glibc-devel 2.3.2-27.9 2.3.2-11.9 i386 2.2M [email protected] 4 U gtkhtml 1.1.9-0.9 1.1.8-5 i386 624K [email protected] 5 U gtkhtml-devel 1.1.9-0.9 1.1.8-5 i386 340K [email protected] 6 U httpd 2.0.40-21.1 2.0.40-21 i386 1.0M [email protected] 7 U httpd-manual 2.0.40-21.1 2.0.40-21 i386 813K [email protected] 8 U mod_ssl 2.0.40-21.1 2.0.40-21 i386 76K [email protected] 9 U nscd 2.3.2-27.9 2.3.2-11.9 i386 52K [email protected] -Choose number(s): ('?' for help): a -Here is what I will download: glibc, glibc-common, glibc-devel, gtkhtml, gtkhtml-devel, httpd, httpd-manual, mod_ssl, nscd -You selected 21.6M of archives ->Do you want to continue?
