Has perl-RPM been superceded by something else?

--==_Exmh_-263831180P Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii I just upgraded my mandrake box from rpm-4.0.4-28mdk to rpm-4.2-22.1.92mdk and find that the perl-RPM rpm stopped working. I tried recompiling it and it failed. I assume it's not just me that can't make it work because 9.2 doesn't include a compiled perl-RPM even though 9.1 did. I'm willing to rewrite my code for a different API if that's what it takes.
