HTTPD::User does'nt work

 Hello,
  i'm using perl version 5.8.3 on Fedora Core 2 on
which i installed HTTPD-User-Manager-1.62.tar.gz on
cpan's site according to their directives.
When i compile my code in order to add login and
passwd to a htpasswd's file with "use
HTTPD::UserAdmin;" i receive error message such
as:Can't locate HTTPD/UserAdmin.pm in @Inc....
I have the same thing with perl 5.8.0 on RedHat9.
Please what can be the problem?
