True. And a file for every resource (rpm resources,libc.so.6(GLIBC__2.0).rdf).

They seem to contain much of the same information that rdfgen produces at 
least. About why the rdf format was chosen I don't know, because this was 
designed before I joined this project. You might want to take a look at the 
files generated,

I wasn't trying to argue that rdfgen was better, but this project is fairly 
stable. It is used as the only updating tool in the Trustix Secure Linux 
distribution. I'm also using it with great success on Mandrake Cooker as my 
updating tool.
