I've suggested this before, but it wasn't implemented in
kernel-2.4.9-31.....
I think
CONFIG_TN3270=y
CONFIG_TN3270_CONSOLE=y
should be added to the default config.
That wouldn't hurt anyone (3215 and/or HWC will still work),
but it greatly helps in a VM setting:  the console type will be
correctly set based on CP CONMODE setting.
