Re: ftp problem

Hi!

I don't know if this helps, but here I go:

1st go to Services in Server Settings and deactivate ipchains.

2nd look if vsftpd is up-n-running. You should restart xinetd to make
vsftpd operational if it was off. Or reboot completly after saving the
settings in Services.

Then look if wuftpd or any other ftp daemons are off. If not shut them
down.

For firewalling I use Firestarter. I turned off the lokkit firewall.

I am not a highly skilled linux user, so for me this GUI firewall does
the trick.
