help sound blaster

Hello
I'm really new to all this world of linux, but i'll always wanted to enter so here i'm.

I recently bought the red hat linux 8.0 distribution and a think all the installation proces was fine with a little problem.

The operating sistem doesn't recognize my sound card. I have a sound blaster 16 isa (CT2230), the card has the plug & play technology but the sistem still doesn't recognize any sound card. How can i install my sound card.
