Please Help - OPTi 82c933 Sound Card not working in 8.0, use to work on earlier versions

Hello,
    I have installed my Redhat linux 8.0 version . The sound card did 
not got detected.
     I ran setup -> sound card configuration utility ( sndconfig) and I 
could hear the sample audio. But still the device/card didn't got 
recognized.
    The syslog has following information :
