SB LIVE! 5.1 card (OEM card lbCT0200) in DELL DIMENSION

Hello,

The SB Live! 5.1 card, installed by DELL in the DIMENSION 8250, has a
different chip set, not supported by the EMU10K1 driver.

There is one commercial driver available.
I managed to get sound with it, while playing games, but I haven't been able
to set it up for playing CD's or MP3.

I checked AUMIX (mute and other setting), since this usually helps.  But not
this time.
I have little hope of finding a "free" driver in the near future.  

I asked DELL for any data about this card, no reply...  
On the Creative's side, no info neither...

If anyone could offer me tips or tricks? Much obliged
