Re: xmms (Audio Media Player ) and grecord do not work !

Hello ,
first, thanxs Bill for hos response ;
well , I trried to go to XMMS preferences
I had changed output plugin to :
OSS Driver 1.2.7 (libOSS.so)
I went to configure->devices from there;
at the top there is Audio Device ; the value in the combobox is "default", 
and there is no
other value which can be set.
I tried to check the "use alternate device" to /dev/dsp1 ;
I tried again to play the sample.au and again nothing was heard...

Can anybody advice what can be the reason ? what should I do ?
