Dude,

Even i am really new to this. But i do have a SS5 running RedHat 6.2 at my
home. And i think for 24bit graphics u need to use the
XFree86-Sun24-3.3.6-20.sparc.rpm instead of the
XFree86-Sun-3.3.6-20.sparc.rpm. 

I tried this but it gave no difference. I think this was more cus my SS5
graphics card probably does not support 24bit colors. 

If u have more info to share on this lemme know.
