RE: bootable cd for linux

I'm pretty sure that Solaris 7 and higher compensate for non compliant
cd-rom drives. Try booting Solaris 2.6 or less if you have the CDs.

Otherwise, try to burn the ISO at a slower rate.

Yes, i have booted the sparc system with  solaris os using the same CD ROM
drive several times.
It works fine.
