Re: bootable cd for linux

This may be somethign you've already checked, but when you burn the disk, 
don't "leave the disc open"

Do it as a single track disc and close the disc after finishing. Your 
burning software should have this option. I had a similar problem and if I 
burned the cd with Close Disc checked it worked fine. I guess some older 
CDRoms don't like multi-track cd's (Even if there's only a single 
track?!?!)
