RedHat-6.2 (for Sparc) was one of the most flawless installs I've done on a Sparc box and if you can still get the correct media I'd suggest you give it try. Guilherme, did you point the machine to the cdrom at boot time? It won't "autoboot" from a CD like a x86 machine will.
