With the one exception, all of the buffer overflow exploits are
architecture specific. The location in memory targeted will not be the
same for Linux/sparc. While it is theoretically possible to alter the
exploits for Linux/sparc, its only been done once to my knowledge.

Yes, Aurora is very much still alive, we're working on a Fedora based
version now. Most of the discussion happens on the aurora-sparc-user
mailing list, I'm pretty terrible about updating the website.
