root user deleted

user root is accidentally deleted.redhat linux 7.2 is running on sparc ar=
chitecture.

We are able to boot through the system normally and do all the operations=
 except those previleged by root. after this root deletion mail server lo=
gin is not being permitted. User can read mail only through console(text =
interface using mail command).we can not telnet/ftp to the system.

Pls let me know whether system can be rescued by recreating root and othe=
r associated users(adm..)
