Yes. But do not remove the kernel-headers (if there is a any chance of compiling something on it, unless you can do the compiling on another similar linux sparc32 machine). Note of caution: "about to become" usually means changes, and sometimes changes mean compiling new modules, which means rpm -i kernel-sources again ;) Silvio On Tue, 14 May 2002, Rodolfo J.
