true, true. That said, I'd say that the SPARC/Linux community is
sizable, in proportion to the market share of sparc itself; I have
personally used linux to extend the life of hundreds of old sparc32
machines, and now that the ultra5/10 is showing up on the replace lists
of corporations, it's likely that the ultralinux community will become
larger there as well, as IT budgets decline and the demand for new
resources increase, this kind of hardware reuse with linux makes perfect
sense.
