I've spent now a couple of days playing with my Sun3. I had forgotten my
root password
to the SunOS on it so I figured, what the hell, let's get Linux on it.

After fighting around some, I thought I'd make a little summary page that
might help somebody else.

It's nothing special yet, most of the information is just piced togeather
from sammy.net/sun3,
the netppl site and README from the netbooting package.

Here's the URL:
http://merman.tal.org/sun3/

I'll write the userland toolchain info someday.. it was "fun" to figure out
how to get that one running,
especially after wasting considerable time trying to compile glibc 2.2.5.
Anyone know why I can compile it fine if I use the regular 0x80000... m68k
linking, but it
crashed when trying to compile sun3 compatible. Something about overlapping
sections
(.interp and .info.ABI-tag I think it was)

Anyway, I hope that page is usefull to someone.
