What I hear Zate asking for is to be able to purchase additional RHN entitlements for RHEL without having to purchase additional copies of RHEL. "If I've already got a GPL'd distro, why do I need to buy more licenses, just lemme have RHN support." Sounds pretty much like what a number of us want, but Red Hat is seeking to maximize their return via their pricing. --Larry On Mon, Oct 27, 2003 at 05:22:26PM -0500, Zate commenced mumbling: > > > On Mon, Oct 27, 2003 at 04:38:47PM -0500, Zate wrote: > >> My beef with this whole process is I have plenty of copies of the OS, I > >> have a build server, what I want is to be able to purchase > >> "entitlements" > >> online. > > > > I'm pretty sure we bought our entitlements online (RHEL ES 2.1 Basic). > > I have looked and cant find anywhere to just buy the management > entitlement for RHN.
