Hello,
I am having trouble building a kernel module on AMD64 version of beta2,
I keep getting:
{standard input}:242035: Error: Incorrect register `%edx' used with `q'
suffix
{standard input}:245938: Error: Incorrect register `%eax' used with `q'
suffix
{standard input}:246454: Error: Incorrect register `%eax' used with `q'
suffix
{standard input}:246568: Error: Incorrect register `%edx' used with `q'
suffix
I have kernel source installed.
I am trying to compile this modules
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/slicoss/).
I have tried with two different up2date versions of the kernel.
Could someone please try to compile it and tell me if it fails for them too.
I am reluctant to get RH3 if beta2 doesn't work.
Thanks,
Mike Levine
