In speaking with a colleague today it was mentioned that SuSE SLES 8 was out performing RHEL 3 on IBM Opteron (e325) boxes by aboot 40% because "Red Hat refuses to add the NUMA hooks that SuSE provides" (his words, not mine) Can anyone comment on this? I have a customer evaling RHEL 3 right now and this represents a 300 system cluster opp for us - I need to know what this all aboot.
