Arjan - do you have a pointer to a RH page that explicity states this? I cannot find a single page that makes a distinction between architecture releases save a single entry in the release notes that use the phrase "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 for the Itanium 2 Architecture". Every other page detailing RHEL 3 uses the phrase "Itanium" and that is decidedly misleading as it is _not_ the same as saying "Itanium 2" if it is, in fact, meant to say (or more correctly - mean) Itanium 2. I don't know that we're likey to get a lot of flack from our existing RH/Itanium install base..... but you guys sure aren't making it any easier for us ;) Don -----Original Message----- Arjan van de Ven wrote: uh oh that appears to be an itanium I which isn't supported by RHEL3 and won't work..... -- Taroon-beta-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list
