And it's not just -devel packages. Here are some others present in the
beta and not in U2 (assuming they're done updating the channels):

Gtk-Perl-0.7008-31.i386
ICAClient-7.00-2.i386
ImageMagick-c++-5.5.6-4.i386
acroread-5.08-2.i386
acroread-plugin-5.08-2.i386
bind-chroot-9.2.2-21.i386
busybox-0.60.5-8.i386
db4-java-4.1.25-8.i386
flash-plugin-6.0.81-1.RHEL.i386
fonts-monotype-0.1-1.noarch
gimp-perl-1.2.3-20.1.i386
gsl-1.1.1-5.i386
gtkglarea-1.2.2-16.i386
java-javadoc-1.5.33-1jpp_4rh.noarch
joe-2.9.8-5.i386
libglade-0.17-12.1.i386
lynx-2.8.5-11.i386
nasm-0.98.35-3.i386
perl-PDL-2.3.4-4.i386
python-tools-2.2.3-5.i386
realplayer-8.0-3.i386
skkdic-20030211-1.noarch

It's strange that they actually mention the fonts-monotype rpm in the U2
release notes, but it isn't present in the non-beta channels at all.
