Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of Update 2
for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 family of products, 
including:

 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 3 for AMD64 and Intel(r) EM64T)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 3 for iSeries and pSeries)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 3 for S/390)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 3 for zSeries)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (v. 3 for x86)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS (v. 3 for x86)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS (v. 3 for Itanium)
 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS (v. 3 for AMD64 and Intel(r) EM64T)
 - Red Hat Developer Suite (for x86)
 - Red Hat Developer Suite (for Itanium)
 - Red Hat Developer Suite (for AMD64 and Intel(r) EM64T)
 - Red Hat Cluster Suite (for x86)

This update includes the following enhancements:

 - Addition of platform support for Intel(r) Extended Memory 64 
    Technology (Intel(r) EM64T) systems.

 - Addition of the Linux Audit Subsystem (LAuS).

 - Upgrade of the OpenOffice.org office suite to version 1.1.0.

 - Improved platform support for IBM zSeries and S/390 systems.

 - Addition of platform support for IBM BladeCenter JS20 systems.

 - Driver updates including IBM ServeRAID (ips), LSI Logic 
    RAID (megaraid), LSI Logic MPT Fusion (mpt* drivers),
    Compaq SA53xx Controllers (cciss driver), QLogic
    Fibre Channel (qla2xxx), Intel PRO/1000 (e1000),
    Broadcom Tigon3 (tg3), Network Bonding (bonding),
    Serial ATA (libata).

 - Addition of a new graphical boot capability, in conjunction
    with the new rhgb package.

 - Availability of third-party packages to subscribers via the
    Extras channel on Red Hat Network, including Adobe Acrobat 
    Reader, Citrix ICA Client, Macromedia Flash Plugin, and 
    Real Player.

 - Availability of professional-quality fonts licensed from
    Agfa Monotype to subscribers via the Extras channel on 
    Red Hat Network.

 - Availability of the Intel IA-32 Execution Layer for Itanium
    to subscribers via the Extras channel on Red Hat Network, 
    for improved 32-bit x86 application support on 64-bit 
    Itanium systems.

 - Introduction of Red Hat Developer Suite for the 64-bit Itanium,
    AMD64, and Intel(r) EM64T platforms, in addition to the
    32-bit x86 platform.

 - Availability of a full set of updated installable CD ISO 
    images via Red Hat Network, with OS package updates and 
    install-time support for new hardware.

 - Availability of updated Extras, Developer Suite, and
    Cluster Suite ISO images via Red Hat Network, with
    package updates.

 - Security updates, bug fixes, feature enhancements, and
    performance improvements to numerous system packages.
