i'm sure all of you are right but i'm not having this problem so far


after a nice install the machine reboot just fine and mount the LVM as it=
 should

the pv is still a raid5 (md2, i have another two more raid)

i look into dmesg and find that all raid are loaded before the kernel giv=
e control to
init,  just after the cciss module are loaded (from the initrd) so init s=
hould not run
the "offending code" of rc.sysinit because "-z "$RAIDSTAT" " should be fa=
lse

i don't know why, in my case, the raid are activated before init take the=
 control, maybe
because i use the cciss module ?? i don't know

i'm not updated, i'm using the first version not the U2
