You really should RTM for RHEL 3 Update 2 when the EM64T (ia32e) was
first supported:

Specifically, read the section titled "Kernel-Related Information" which
explains the differences between the AMD64 and EM64T CPUs.  As long as
your kickstart image contains both the x86_64 and ia32e kernel RPMs,
anaconda chooses which one to install automatically.
