As far as i know, the only supported method is via RHN / up2date. You can use yum for 3rd party rpm's such as dag's. I doubt very much you'll be seeing yum repo's for rhn unless you make one yourself, which i don't even know if its possible due to licensing and the public nature of yum. -- Beau Henderson http://www.iminteractive.net On Wed, 22 Dec 2004 23:35:02 +0100, Jos Vos <[email protected]> wrote: > On Wed, Dec 22, 2004 at 02:26:09PM -0800, MJang wrote: > > > However, the RHEL 3 rebuilds (e.g. www.caosity.org, > > www.whiteboxlinux.org) use yum for their updates - their software may be > > useful for examples of working yum configurations using RHEL 3 software. > > But the original question was about a yum repository for the *real* > RHEL3, which does not exist. > > -- > -- Jos Vos <[email protected]> > -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 > -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 > > -- > Taroon-beta-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list > -- Taroon-beta-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list
