Not true.  If I have a scheduled downtime on my enterprise always-on
servers, I want certain things to run when I boot the machines (cron
jobs that didn't run during the downtime).  This is the whole purpose of
anacron in our environment.

I guess I'll add the package from RH 9 or recompile :(
