I can use the compat-libstdc++-2.10.0-1.s390.rpm from a
RedHat 7.2 for s/390 on Taroon and it works fine. I did
not rebuild it, just used the old rpm. The product I am
working on is new, so I can't discuss it in the mailinglist,
but I will send more info offline.

The particular part of this new product shares some common
code with other IBM products (IHS, HOD, HATS), so I think
they will be affected also. I am trying to find the right
IBM contacts for those products to confirm this.

I haven't looked at the taroon intel distributuon yet, but
the same problem (missing libstdc++-libc6*) may exist there also.
