The MD5SUMs were correct. And the CDs have been used to
install Taroon on another PC without problems.

If I remove the Xircom card from the PCMCIA slot, then
the CD boots as expected. I could install Taroon on the
laptop, but of course its of no big use without NIC.
And if I insert the Xircom card, then there is the
kernel crash.
