I don't have it on my systems, and --installall still fails: root@saias34 root]# rpm -q compat-gcc-g77 package compat-gcc-g77 is not installed [root@saias34 root]# up2date --show-channels rhel3-beta1-as-ia64 [root@saias34 root]# up2date --installall --channel=rhel3-beta1-as-ia64 2>&1|tail Fetching Obsoletes list for channel: rhel3-beta1-as-ia64... The message was: Unresolvable chain of dependencies: compat-gcc-g77-7.3-2.96.119 requires compat-gcc = 7.3-2.96.119 Red Hat has to remove the compat-gcc-g77-7.3-2.96.119 package from the channel to fix the problem, as stated before. -- Taroon-beta-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list
