Re: mkinitrd and loopback devices

I ran into this just last week and it ended up being
that /tmp was mounted on tmpfs and mkinitrd didn't like
it.  Once I umount'ed /tmp so that /tmp was just a dir
on the rootdisk, mkinitrd worked fine.
