OK. So "officially" on the Red Hat side, the last supported release on the first Itanium CPUs is 7.2? Or only 7.1 (looking at the hp website, 7.1 is a certified release on the i2000 workstation, but the status of 7.2 is undefined and they're also talking about a 7.3 release that, to my knowledge, doesn't exist on the ia64 architecture)? Itanium 1 cpu's aren't supported by RHEL2.1/ia64 (although > they may happen to work), adding support to RHEL3 for this sounds rather > unlikely as a result. -- Taroon-beta-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list
